Hi All!
Quick question. Well maybe it wont' be so quick. Dunno. is there any way a blindie can go on Excel or whatever, make a graph (which in itself is doable but is a chore) and then emboss it and have it come out semicoherently? I mean, these are huge massive graphs I'm talking about, so it's not like I could do it on the Perkins with one of those little ten-by-ten grid things. Do any of you lot have any ideas?
Thank you muchly.
Caitlin
yes it's doable, and there is an embosser called the tiger tactile which will emboss out these graphs, I have no idea what they'd look like though, and the tiger does not come cheap.
Um I don't know much about this stuff. But if you find out something let us know. SB thanks for the info.
Well if you have a braille n' speak (which you don't I don't think) you can use graphit which can emboss graphs to braille printers and also play audio representations back to you, actually it's also available for dos. Since FS are idiots and charge for old software that hardly anyone can use it's $55 I think, but I might be able to um, hem get a copy (I um, know someone who has one) for dos... let me know.

Oh but one thing, it's a graphing calculator so you need to make them based off equations like y = 2x+4... that's trig stuff but if you're doing that, hey... cool.
